Arek Melkon Manugian, MD
Clinical Assistant Professor, Medicine - Primary Care and Population Health
BioDr. Manugian is a board-certified internal medicine doctor at Stanford Primary Care in Portola Valley. He is also a clinical assistant professor in the Division of Primary Care and Population Health in the Department of Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine.

As a clinical research associate at the Stanford University Center for Sleep Sciences and Medicine, Dr. Manugian studied medications to treat restless legs syndrome.
Dr. Manugian presented research to his peers during his residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He has taught medical students, residents, and physicians about a variety of topics, including alcohol abuse, tick-born illnesses, and managing indigestion.

Bence Mány

BioBence Mány is a visiting researcher with the Xu Group at Stanford University, where he is working on image-guided robotic vascular access, with a focus on portable ultrasound and real-time vessel localization.
He is also a Senior R&D Engineer at a Danish medical technology company, developing technologies aimed at improving time-critical treatment and enabling invasive interventions in emergency care. His work spans medical imaging, computer vision, embedded computing, and the translation of research prototypes into practical clinical systems.
Bence received his M.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), where he completed his thesis under Prof. Jørgen Arendt Jensen, focusing on a portable single-element ultrasound system for image-guided intervention. He received his B.Sc. in Mechatronics Engineering from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME).
