Sergio Missana

BioSergio Missana is a professor of Literature and Film at Stanford's Overseas Studies Program in Santiago, Chile. He is the author of 17 books, including novels, essays, travel chronicles and children's books. His most recent works are the novels The Transentients (2021, translated into English by Jessica Powell) and Entremuros (Through the Walls, 2019), and Última salida (Last Exit, 2021), an essay on the humanities and the climate crisis. Missana studied Communications and Journalism at the University of Chile and earned an MA and PhD in Spanish at Stanford University. He was an editor of the report of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, which investigated human rights violations committed by Chile's civil-military dictatorship between 1973 and 1990. He currently serves as secretary-general of the Climate Parliament, an international multi-partisan network of legislators working to combat climate change and protect the living planet. He divides his time between Madrid and Santiago.

Kevin C. Moore

BioKevin C. Moore is an Advanced Lecturer in the Program in Writing and Rhetoric (PWR), and the Coordinator of PWR's Notation in Science Communication. He holds a PhD in English from UCLA (2013). Prior to arriving at Stanford, he taught in the Writing Program at the University of California, Santa Barbara (2013-2019). His research interests include science and rhetoric, propaganda studies, Ralph Ellison, and writer's block. Dr. Moore's work has appeared in Arizona Quarterly, Arts, ContraSTS, Writing on the Edge, African American Review, Composition Studies, MAKE, Souciant, and the Santa Barbara Independent, as well as collections such as Trigger Warnings: Teaching through Trauma (Lever Press 2026), Ralph Ellison in Context (Cambridge University Press 2021), and Creative Ways of Knowing in Engineering (Springer 2017). He also writes fiction and creative nonfiction.

BioJack Nasher is a scholar and practitioner in negotiation strategy.
Professor Jack Nasher previously taught at Oxford University, his alma mater, and became the youngest ever appointee for a professorship at Munich Business School, where he held the chair for Leadership & Organization from 2010-2023.
Alongside his studies in Philosophy (PhD), Psychology (MA), Management (MSc), and Law (German State Exam), he earned his stripes at the European Court of Justice, at the United Nations in New York City, and at Wall Street’s leading law firm Skadden.
Professor Jack Nasher explores the dynamics of the negotiation process, utilizing psychological insights to read and influence people. He founded the NASHER Negotiation Institute which helps car manufacturers, private equity firms, professional service firms, and many other companies and individuals improve their negotiation processes.
Books authored by Professor Jack Nasher became multiple bestsellers and were published in the USA, Germany, Russia, India, Japan, China and many other countries. He has been featured in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, and the China Times and he is the author of the annual Forbes list of the Top 10 World Changing Negotiations.
Professor Jack Nasher is a Principle Practitioner of the Association of Business Psychology and regularly speaks at management conventions, where his research has been awarded with a gold medal. He is an avid mentalist and regularly demonstrates mind mysteries at Hollywood’s Magic Castle.
