Eloi Laurent

BioDr. Éloi Laurent is a senior economist at OFCE who teaches at Ponts Paris Tech, the Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA), the Urban School and the School of Public Affairs at Sciences Po; he has been since 2011 visiting professor at Stanford University. Macro-economist by training (PhD), he graduated from Paris-Dauphine and Sciences Po (summa cum laude).
His work focuses on the social-ecological approach and the well-being economy which he has defined as a combination of sufficiency, cooperation and health. He also works on the well-being city understood as a tapestry of social and natural bonds.
He is the author or editor of thirty books in French and English (translated into nine languages), three governmental reports and around a hundred articles published in French and international journals.
He was parliamentary attaché to the National Assembly and assistant in the cabinet of the French Prime Minister. He has been a Visiting Scholar at New York University (NYU) and Columbia University, Visiting Professor at the University of Montreal, and Visiting Scholar and Professor at Harvard University.
He is Research Fellow at the Well-being Economy Alliance (WeALL), qualified expert for European institutions and was the chairman of the SHS 5 (economics and law) and Foresight (sustainable development) Commissions of the Scientific Research Fund, FRS- FNRS (Belgium).

BioLina is an Academic Affairs Administrator with Stanford Introductory Studies (SIS), under the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education (VPUE). She manages hiring and payments for instructors and faculty teaching in SIS programs. Prior to SIS, Lina was with the Diversity & Access Office providing students, staff, faculty and visitors disability-related accommodations and supporting the 8 staff affinity groups. She has also worked at the Graduate School of Business, helping MBA and MSx students acclimate to living on campus. Lina has a Bachelor's in Business Administration from San Jose State University and a Master's in Global Entrepreneurial Management from the University of San Francisco.

Aurel's dedication to research is evidenced by a gold medal at the International Conference of Young Social Scientists (2022) and a silver medal at the Indonesian International Applied Science Project Olympiad (2023).
Aurel is a recipient of the prestigious Beasiswa Indonesia Award, a full scholarship granted by the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, and Research, recognizing outstanding academic and extracurricular accomplishments.
In addition to academic achievements, Aurel is deeply committed to organizational and community work. As the co-founder of Trash2Treasure Surabaya, Aurel has demonstrated leadership and innovation in environmental sustainability in the field of food and fashion waste. Further, Aurel spearheads project development at Gores Denai, leads the curriculum division at LayarBelajar, and coordinates public relations for Seruan Muda Indonesia.

I've worked with SELF company in Taiwan, collaborating on restaurant businesses and films. I am passionate about researching dance in conjunction with mental health, drawing from my own experiences as a performing artist for the past fourteen years. He was Visiting Scholar at Harvard University and Visiting Professor at Gothenburg University ((Sweden), Tufts University (Boston), Javeriana University (Colombia), IVIC (Venezuela), Colegio de Mexico, University of the Andes (Chile and Colombia) and St. Antony´s College (Oxford). He was Education Attaché in the Spanish Embassy in Colombia and held foreign education positions. His publications include a number of books on travels, scientific expeditions, cities, images of nations, empires or globalization. He is professor of Writing (Non-Fiction) in Cursiva, Penguin Random House School; Member of the board in Hispania Nostra and Revista de Occidente and adviser in National Geographic-History.
