Sven Beiker
Lecturer, Graduate School of Business - Academic Administration
BioSven Beiker is a Lecturer in Management at the GSB, and the Managing Director of Silicon Valley Mobility, an independent consulting & advisory firm. He covers the electrification, automation, connectivity, and sharing of automobiles through the lens of new technologies and business models. This is reflected in his teaching at the GSB as well as in his professional engagements. Prior to his independent consulting work, he served as an Expert Consultant for mobility topics at McKinsey & Company for 2.5 years.
Dr. Beiker is also the former Executive Director of the Center for Automotive Research at Stanford, an industry affiliates program that he launched in 2008 together with Stanford Professors Gerdes, Nass, and Thrun. Before coming to Stanford, Dr. Beiker worked at the BMW Group for more than 13 years. Between 1995 and 2008 he pursued responsibilities in technology scouting, innovation management, systems design, and series development. He primarily applied his expertise to chassis and powertrain projects, which also provided him with profound insights into the industry’s processes and best practices. In addition, he worked in three major automotive and technology locations: Germany, Silicon Valley, and Detroit.
Dr. Beiker received his MS (1995) and PhD (1999) degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University in Braunschweig, Germany. He published various technical papers and holds several patents in the fields of vehicle dynamics and powertrain technology. -
MAX GORBUK

BioI am a Computer Science student with a passion for building technology that solves real problems. My work ranges from co-founding MedAI, a healthcare startup helping doctors treat children on immunosuppressive therapy, to organizing charitable marathons and leading startup workshops for over 300 students across multiple universities.
Currently, I am a Research Analyst at the Stanford Venture Capital Initiative, working in an international team to analyze how innovation and investment intersect. This role has challenged me to think globally, collaborate across cultures, and tackle complex questions that may influence the future of entrepreneurship.
My projects have received national innovation grants and have been featured in private clinics, proving that impact can start small but scale fast with the right team and vision. I thrive at the intersection of product thinking, IT systems, and research, and I enjoy creating environments - whether in tech, education, or community events - where people can grow their ideas into reality.
Beyond tech and entrepreneurship, I am deeply interested in the stock market, cryptocurrencies, and Web3 technologies. I see them not only as financial instruments, but as powerful tools for creating new, decentralized economic models.

Maksim 'Max' Gorbuk -
Ajay Madhok

BioAjay Madhok is a growth architect who has driven innovation from both sides—helping established organizations evolve and launching startups to challenge the status quo. His expertise lies in translating bold ideas into scalable products and high-growth platforms.
He currently serves as EVP of Business Strategy at Angel Studios and Managing Partner at the Angel Acceleration Fund. Ajay is also the co-founder of Celerity, a YC-style accelerator for story-tech ventures, and founding partner of ReViz, a creative-tech spinout enabling Gen Z to remix and co-create culturally relevant content using AI.
At Stanford, Ajay is a Distinguished Scholar at mediaX, where he researches corporate innovation and organizational resilience. His current work focuses on building “purpose-built ventures” by combining startup agility with institutional assets. He also explores decentralized trust and crypto-enabled ecosystems as drivers of next-generation economic models.
Ajay is an advisor to Playground Global and a member of the Technology Advisory Council at Harman International (a Samsung company). He has contributed to foundational digital identity protocols (XRI/XDI) and serves as Vice-Chair of the Comms Committee at Trust over IP, a Linux Foundation initiative advancing digital trust standards.
He earned his B.S. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and an M.S. in Mathematics from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. -
Prasad Setty

BioPrasad’s expertise is in the science and practice of helping people and organizations grow and scale. As an established thought leader and seasoned executive, Prasad’s insights are derived from his experience in the corporate world, academia and advisory roles.
At Stanford’s Graduate School of Business, Prasad co-teaches an MBA course on trends shaping the world of work. He serves as an independent advisor to companies including BetterUp, DataStax, and Grab on people, culture and organizational matters.
Previously, Prasad was at Google for 15 years, and founded their renowned People Analytics team in 2007. Under his leadership, Google undertook highly influential and well-known research initiatives including Project Oxygen and Project Aristotle to enable great managers and teams. Prasad expanded his role in People Operations (i.e., Google’s HR function) to also lead compensation, benefits and performance management for Google. He helped shape Google’s approach to attracting, developing and retaining talent, and worked closely with the management team and the board of directors to grow the workforce ten-fold over his tenure.
Prasad later took on a role as Vice President, Digital Work Experience in Google Workspace and focused on making the experience of digital work productive, sustainable, healthy and inclusive for the billions of users of Google Workspace products (including Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Meet).
Before joining Google, Prasad was vice president of workforce analytics at Capital One. Earlier, he was a consultant with McKinsey & Company.
He holds an MBA from the Wharton School where he graduated as a Palmer Scholar. He continues his association with Wharton, serving on the advisory board for executive education. He also has a master’s degree in chemical engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from IIT, Chennai, India.
