Student Assistant, Electrical EngineeringCurrent Research and Scholarly InterestsMy research is focused on how motor control is encoded at a neuronal level. On the theoretical side, I develop mathematical methods for analyzing neural data and modeling the relationships between neurons and motor function. On the applied side, I build computational frameworks for processing large datasets and interfacing with hardware. My goals are to gain insights on how networks of neurons work in harmony to generate movement and to improve the design of brain-machine interfaces.

Current Research and Scholarly InterestsDevan's research at Stanford is focused on reducing inequities in health, education, and society. Devan is leveraging multiple sources of data within the state of California and nationwide to develop a holistic Energy Poverty Index to evaluate and guide policy. Devan's research addresses disparities in racial equity by helping to identify communities and schools that are most vulnerable and at-risk based on socio-economic, health, and environmental factors.

BioI’m a graduate international student in the Civil and Environmental Engineering (Atmosphere/Energy) program at Stanford University, with a background in Chemical Engineering. My interests sit at the intersection of sustainability, energy systems, and data-driven decision-making.
In my professional career, I have managed projects that required both technical depth and business judgment. My work often involves data analysis to evaluate projects from technical and financial perspectives and turn results into clear recommendations for decision-makers.
I also hold an MBA and I’m a CFA Charterholder. I’m especially interested in decarbonization strategy, environmental performance, and energy/climate finance.
Outside of class, I enjoy all kinds of physical activities, even though I’m still a beginner.
