A veteran data scientist, his research trawls the oceans of data each patient generates for patterns to predict dangerous outcomes before they happen in Stanford's top level NICU, where he also still serves as a frontline clinician. Outside Stanford, he is the digital lead at Valley Children's hospital and advises health technology startups in Silicon Valley and beyond.
