Tiffany Cheng

BioI am a physician leader and anesthesiologist at Stanford Health Care, where I serve as Medical Director of Perioperative Services at SHC Palo Alto and hold a faculty appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine.
My work sits at the intersection of direct patient care and systems-level leadership. I have a track record of building high-performing clinical teams, designing governance structures from the ground up, and delivering measurable operational impact — including significant improvements in OR utilization, block efficiency, and access to care across Stanford's interventional platform.
I founded Stanford's Anesthesiology Mentorship Program (AMP), a faculty development initiative that received the Augustus A. White III Award, and co-founded ASPIRE, a multi-institutional speaker exchange network. I am a graduate of Stanford's Physician Leadership Certificate Program and will begin an Executive MBA at Santa Clara University in Fall 2026.

Current Research and Scholarly InterestsDr. Xingxing Cheng's expertise is in applying the tools of decision science to clinical practice and policy analysis. Her current research is in the following areas:
1) the costs, effectiveness, and implementation of work-up before kidney transplantation, including pretransplant cardiovascular screening;
2) ethics of and decision-making in in multi-organ transplantation. -

David Cheriton

BioCheriton's research includes the areas of high-performance distributed systems, and high-speed computer communication with a particular interest in protocol design. He leads the Distributed Systems Group in the TRIAD project, focused on understanding and solving problems with the Internet architecture. He has also been teaching and writing about object-oriented programming, building on his experience with OOP in systems building.

After attending Washington University in St. Louis for her undergraduate degree, she received her M.D. from Stanford University School of Medicine. She has a special interest in helping patients of all ages with weight management, obesity prevention, and chronic disease care.
Dr. Chern has volunteered her time as a physician at Arbor and Pacific Free Clinics, the two Stanford-associated free clinics that provide basic healthcare for underserved patients. In her leisure time, she enjoys running in all forms - most of all - chasing after her fleet-footed twin toddlers! -

BioKateryna Chernohorenko is the architect of Ukraine’s digital transformation and the former Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine (2023-2025).
During her government tenure, Kateryna Chernohorenko spearheaded systemic reforms that fortified Ukraine’s institutions and redefined modern warfare:
• Launched Reserve+, a mobile app for conscripts and reservists that digitised military records and integrated recruitment functionality (6M+ users);
• Launched Army+, a dedicated mobile app for active military personnel featuring e-reports, training courses, surveys, discount programs, and cross-unit transfer functionality (1M+ users);
• Scaled DELTA, a Ukrainian battlefield management system — officially certified according to the NATO standards and used by 90% of the Armed Forces’ units;
• Formed and led the Drone and IT coalitions, mobilising over $3.3 billion in military aid.
• Established the Cyber Incident Response Center, securing 24/7 monitoring of Ukrainian cyberspace, preventing data breaches, and ensuring the country’s digital resilience.
• Initiated the creation of the Space Policy Directorate within the Ministry of Defense, laying the legal and institutional foundation for global space security integration.
Currently, Kateryna Chernohorenko serves as a strategic advisor to the global and Ukrainian defense tech industry, providing guidance on digital development and drone warfare. She also shares her expertise as a Senior Lecturer at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, teaching the course “E-Governance, Document Management, and Digital Democracy”, and authors a “Chief Strategic Officer in Defence” aimed at C-level managers in the defense industry. -

BioDr. Christopher Cheung is a board-certified, fellowship-trained pain medicine specialist and anesthesiologist at the Stanford Health Care Pain Management Center. He is also a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine.
Dr. Cheung cares for patients with a wide range of acute and chronic pain conditions, including spine-related pain, neuropathic pain, and postsurgical pain. He specializes in using medications and interventional procedures such as nerve blocks, spine injections, radiofrequency ablation, and neuromodulation to improve function and quality of life. Working closely with patients from diagnosis through treatment, Dr. Cheung focuses on providing personalized, high-quality care.
Dr. Cheung’s research has explored innovative neuromodulation techniques and evidence-based strategies for pain management after surgery. His work has been presented at national conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals. -

His past research include investigating the mechanism of viral neutralization of hepatitis B virus at the molecular level and immune response to hepatitis C virus.
