Helen Shih, MSN, NP

BioHelen Shih is an endocrine oncology NP who works with patients with benign and malignant neuroendocrine tumors, bridging the gaps between medical, surgical and endocrine oncology. She manages endocrinology immunotherapy adverse related events, and sees patients on clinical trials with neuroendocrine tumors including adrenal cortical carcinomas and thyroid cancers which require immunotherapy or targeted therapies. In addition, she has started her own thyroid nodule clinic.
Helen has been an NP since 2009, but her journey into hematology/oncology world, started in 2014, when working with a hematology/oncology practice in SF. From there, she worked at UCSF for 5 years in thoracic and sarcoma oncology. Helen was the primary NP in clinical trials investigating new treatment strategies for thoracic and sarcoma malignancies.
Prior to 2014, Helen worked as a primary care nurse practitioner for the San Francisco Department of Public Health and as a registered nurse in Weill Cornell Medicine's pulmonary step-down unit.
Shih graduated as an adult nurse practitioner from the Columbia University School of Nursing. Previously, she had received a bachelor's degree in molecular cell biology from the University of California, Berkeley, followed by a master of public health degree in epidemiology from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Her interests and hobbies include nature, dogs, dance classes, cooking, and creative endeavors. -
Yael Shull, MS, PA-C

BioYael Shull, MS, PA-C is a Physician Assistant at the Stanford Cancer Center South Bay (CCSB). She graduated with her Master of Science (MS) degree from Samuel Merritt University. Working directly with the medical oncologists at CCSB, Yael Shull is involved in all aspects of patient care. She works closely with patients to ensure they have the knowledge and resources to help them maintain their quality of life during their cancer treatments. Yael Shull is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Association of Physician Assistants in Oncology, and California Academy of Physician Assistants.

Victoria Rose Tanoury, RN, MSN, AGPCNP-BC

BioVictoria Tanoury is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner and certified Movement Disorders Advanced Practice Provider specializing in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of Parkinson’s Disease, essential tremor, dystonia, and other movement disorders. She has extensive experience in deep brain stimulation (DBS) programming and management for these conditions.
Victoria earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Washington and spent eight years specializing in neurology and neurosurgery before furthering her education. In 2014, she joined the Stanford Movement Disorders team as the lead nurse coordinator, where she oversaw the DBS review board and coordinated the multidisciplinary Huntington’s Disease and ataxia clinic, which received designation as a Huntington Disease Society of America Center of Excellence. In addition, she co-led a local ataxia support group recognized by the National Ataxia Foundation.
While completing her master’s degree at UCSF, Victoria participated in a dual program that combined the Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner curriculum with coursework in occupational and environmental health studies. This experience allowed her to explore environmental factors affecting neurological conditions and observe workplace exposures linked to neurological symptoms. Upon finishing her nurse practitioner program, she rejoined the Stanford Movement Disorders team, where she is actively involved in the DBS program, performing initial evaluations, assisting with patient selection, and programming patients following their surgery.
