Whitney Saia, MSN, RN, FNP-C

BioWhitney Saia is a native of Nashville, Tennessee and works as a Nurse Practitioner in the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery department at Stanford. Whitney completed her Master of Science in Nursing degree at Tennessee State University and developed her aesthetic training at NYU in New York City. In her current role, she supports several plastic surgeons in managing the outpatient care for cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, with the goal of providing a humanistic approach to recovery.
In addition to her role as part of the surgical team, Whitney leads an autonomous cosmetic clinic providing aesthetic injectables and facial rejuvenating treatments. Her passion for continuing education in the medical aesthetic space has driven her career toward new cosmetic trends, anti-aging treatments, skin care and post-operative plastic surgery care. She is a member of the International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses (ISPAN) and received her Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist certification from the Plastic Surgical Nursing Certification Board (PSNCB). Whitney has lectured at numerous national plastic surgery conferences and assists with cosmetic trainings for Stanford residents. She believes in a natural approach to rejuvenation and prides herself on making her patients feel comfortable and relaxed when seeking cosmetic treatments. -

BioKathleen Smith, RN, MS works as an advance practice provider in breast medical oncology. She has been employed by Stanford since 1986 when she began her career as a bedside nurse, working on a cancer clinical trials unit. She completed a MS in oncology nursing at UCSF in 1990 focusing on better understanding of cancer biology which led to a new role for her at Stanford between 1990-1996 as Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist. As she evolved as a clinician, she realized she wanted to return to direct patient care and thus pursued a post master's Nurse Practitioner certification. Since 1996, she has been working as a medical oncology nurse practitioner. Initially, she worked in all subspecialties of medical oncology, however over the last 20 + years she has focused primarily in breast cancer care. Her interests currently are in breast medical oncology care, breast cancer research, and furthering the role of advance practice providers through teaching and mentorship. She loves her work at Stanford and feels fortunate to partner with amazing women and men both as patients and colleagues.
When not at Stanford, Kathleen spends time with her family - husband and two sons who both are attending college. She loves spending time in the Pacific Northwest hiking and in the outdoors. Baking, cooking, and musical theater are a few of her favorite hobbies! -
Nannette Storr-Street, RN, MS, AGCNS-BC

BioNannette Storr-Street MS, RN, AGCNS-BC is an Advanced Practice Nurse with Stanford Health Care’s Inpatient Geriatric Consult Services. She received her Master’s in Science at the University of California, San Francisco and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of San Francisco. BioSandip Suprai DNP, NP-BC, is a nurse practitioner with the GI/Liver team here at Stanford Healthcare and also the APP Lead for the GI/Liver/Nephrology team. She has been at Stanford Healthcare since 2003. Sandip got her Bachelor's in Nursing from California State Hayward and worked as a registered nurse on E3 at Stanford Healthcare prior to pursuing her Masters in Nursing from San Francisco State University, a cohort program with Stanford Healthcare in 2007. Sandip joined the GI/Liver team in 2011 and has been here since then. She also obtained her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2016 from San Jose/Fresno State University and took on the APP Lead position in 2015 for the GI/Liver and Renal team. She is on the Liver Quality team, APP week committee, served on the APP Wellness committee, APP General Council, Press Ganey committee and many other process and quality improvement projects within the department!. She was recently offered the chair position for the APP subcommittee for the Northern California Society for Clinical Gastroenterology (NCSG)! Sandip finds her job to be rewarding and she enjoys caring for her patients and working with her supportive interdisciplinary team ! Sandip truly believes in Stanford Healthcare's mission - "Healing humanity through science and compassion, one patient at a time."

Christine Tacklind, MS, CNS, ACNP-BC, CCRN

BioChristine has been a nurse practitioner with Stanford Hospital beginning in April of 2012. She began in the Emergency Department and Clinical Decision Unit. In this role she was responsible for the assessment and management of Emergency Department patients on a 24 hour observation unit. In April of 2014 she transitioned to the Cardiac Electrophysiology Service. In this role she is responsible for assessment and management of patients on the Arrhythmia service, admissions, Emergency Department consults, management of outpatients under the guidance of attending physicians, as well as performing procedures such as cardioversions and interrogation and interpretation of pacemakers and internal cardiac defibrillators. She was awarded the APP Clinical IV, for her contributions to Stanford as an Advanced Practice Provider. Christine is also an adjunct professor at the University of California, San Francisco in the Acute Care and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner program and lectures for the Physician Assistant Masters program at Stanford School of Medicine.
