Vinay Chenna
Postdoctoral Scholar, Electrical Engineering
BioVinay Chenna is an incoming tenure-track assistant professor at Columbia University. He received a B.Tech in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, Chennai, India, in 2019, and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA, USA, in 2026. His current research focuses on leveraging computational techniques and optimization algorithms to design high-performance RF and mm-Wave integrated circuits. He was a recipient of the USC ECE Ming-Hsieh Institute (MHI) PhD Scholarship in 2026-27 (voluntarily declined), USC Annenberg Fellowship in 2019, and the USC IUSSTF-Viterbi summer research award in 2018. He has won the Best Student Paper Award - 1st Place at the IEEE Radio Frequency Integrated Circuits (RFIC) Symposium in 2025, the IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society (SSCS) Predoctoral Achievement Award in 2025-26, and the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S) Tom Brazil Graduate Fellowship in 2026. He currently serves as a reviewer for several IEEE journals, magazines, and conferences within the IEEE SSCS, APS, CAS, and MTT-S societies.

Woongbi Cho
Postdoctoral Scholar, Mechanical Engineering
BioWoongbi Cho is a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Stanford University. He received his B.S. in Polymer Science and Engineering from Inha University in February 2019 , and his Ph.D. in Organic and Nano Engineering from Hanyang University in February 2025. His doctoral research focused on developing next-generation polymer composites, emphasizing processing-structure-property-performance (PSPP) relationships in liquid crystalline and sulfur-rich polymers. Currently, Woongbi's research interests center on adaptive materials, electromagnetically (EM)-driven soft robotics, polymer assembly mechanisms, and active metamaterials for applications in soft robotics, optoelectronics, and energy harvesting.

Current Research and Scholarly InterestsMy research focuses on using wastewater to track infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance across populations. I integrate environmental surveillance with clinical data to understand pathogen transmission dynamics and support public health decision-making within a One Health framework.

Arthur Dattin
Graduate Visiting Researcher Student, Civil & Envir Engr
BioArthur Dattin is an MSc student in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Energy Sciences, at ETH Zurich. He is completing his master's thesis in Prof. Meagan Mauter's WE3 Lab. He holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from EPFL.
He works on flexible loads, combining power systems, optimization and machine learning. Before Stanford, he built a data-driven control framework at the Singapore-ETH Centre that runs building HVAC systems as a virtual power plant. At Romande Energie, a Swiss utility, he deployed an electricity market forecasting model that the trading desk now uses.
Outside research, he is a competitive triathlete, a scout leader and a saxophonist.
