Focus on improving the average performance usually produces more net benefit than eliminating outliers, often by simplification, standardization, and specification. We have worked with electronic medication monitors, clinical databases, and computerized order entry systems for better clinical outcomes and trained clinicians for professionalism and accountability.

I have experience with high-complexity patients as I have worked in oncology and in the ICU during the COVID 19 pandemic. I am currently a postdoc working in Dr. Jennifer Newberry’s lab exploring the barriers faced by the Latinx community in East San Jose when seeking mental health support and how we can help create better pathways to connect the community to mental health services. I am passionate about public health and community outreach.
