BioHi, my name is Andrew! I’m a current PhD student in Biomedical Data Science and an NSF Graduate Research Fellow. I am broadly interested in solving problems at the intersection of AI and science, but particularly in the areas of biology and medicine. Before my PhD, I worked at Harvard Medical School with Marinka Zitnik on developing machine learning methods for medicine and science.

Chen-Yang Su
Postdoctoral Scholar, Biomedical Informatics
BioDr. Chen-Yang Su is a Postdoctoral Scholar in Biomedical Data Science at Stanford University whose research focuses on AI agents, AI evaluation and reliability, and AI for science. He develops and evaluates foundation models and agentic AI systems for biomedical research and scientific discovery, with an emphasis on robust, reliable, and grounded AI systems.
He earned a PhD in Quantitative Life Sciences, an MSc in Computer Science from Mila – Quebec AI Institute, and a BSc in Computer Science and Biology, all at McGill University. He has contributed to more than 50 publications and has received numerous competitive research grants, fellowships, and awards.
