Zandra L. Jordan
Director, Hume Center for Writing and Speaking, Writing and Rhetoric Operations
BioRev. Dr. Zandra L. Jordan is Director of the Hume Center for Writing and Speaking. A trained rhetorician and ordained Baptist minister, she holds a B.A. in English from Spelman College, a M.A.T in English from Brown University, a MDiv with Certification in Black Church Studies from Emory University, and a PhD in English and Education from the University of Michigan. Her current scholarship focuses on womanist ethics, racial justice, and writing center administration. At Stanford, she also serves as a Chaplain Affiliate with the Office for Religious and Spiritual Life. Beyond Stanford, she serves on the ministerial team at UAMEZ Church in Palo Alto. Dr. Jordan is a proud member of the San Francisco-Peninsula Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and the San Jose (CA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated.

SHI Discussion Leader, Stanford Pre-Collegiate StudiesBioSuchismito Khatua is a scholar of twentieth- and twenty-first-century literary and visual cultures from South Asia and its diasporas. His doctoral work traces figurations of negativity and discontent across post-revolutionary avant-gardes, including poetry, fiction, cinema, and computational media, moving between Postcolonial Studies, Feminist and Queer Theory, Critical Caste Studies, and Translation. He was previously affiliated with the University of Calcutta, Jawaharlal Nehru University, and the Freie Universität Berlin. He writes in both Bangla and English.

Eloi Laurent

BioDr. Éloi Laurent is a senior economist at OFCE who teaches at Ponts Paris Tech, the Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA), the Urban School and the School of Public Affairs at Sciences Po; he has been since 2011 visiting professor at Stanford University. Macro-economist by training (PhD), he graduated from Paris-Dauphine and Sciences Po (summa cum laude).
His work focuses on the social-ecological approach and the well-being economy which he has defined as a combination of sufficiency, cooperation and health. He also works on the well-being city understood as a tapestry of social and natural bonds. He recently co-created the Well-being Economy Toolbox (https://toolbox.preventncd.eu/).
He is the author or editor of thirty books in French and English (translated into nine languages), three governmental reports and around a hundred articles published in French and international journals (partial list of publications: https://ideas.repec.org/f/pla209.html)
He was parliamentary attaché to the National Assembly and assistant in the cabinet of the French Prime Minister. He has been a Visiting Scholar at New York University (NYU) and Columbia University, Visiting Professor at the University of Montreal, and Visiting Scholar and Professor at Harvard University.
He is Research Fellow at the Well-being Economy Alliance (WeALL), qualified expert for European institutions and was the chairman of the SHS 5 (economics and law) and Foresight (sustainable development) Commissions of the Scientific Research Fund, FRS- FNRS (Belgium).

Assistant Director, SIS Academic Affairs, Stanford Introductory Studies Operations
BioLina is the Assistant Director, Academic Affairs for Stanford Introductory Studies (SIS), part of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education (VPUE). She manages hiring and payments for instructors and faculty teaching in SIS programs. Prior to SIS, Lina was with the Diversity & Access Office supporting university-wide employee groups and providing students, staff, faculty and visitors disability-related accommodations. Her first role at Stanford was with the Graduate School of Business, helping MBA and MSx students acclimate to living on campus. Lina has a Bachelor's in Business Administration from San Jose State University and a Master's in Global Entrepreneurial Management from the University of San Francisco.
