Ganesh Rajasekar

BioGanesh Rajasekar, MPH is a Biostatistician in the S-SPIRE Center. He received his graduate degree in Epidemiology from Emory University in 2018. Since then, he has been involved in the development of grant-funded manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations. His past experience includes statistical collaboration in the Knightâs Alzheimer Disease Research Center (ADRC) in the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and the UC Davis Health Department of Surgery.
He currently serves as a biostatistician to Dr. Arden Morris and Dr. Aaron Dawes for their research projects. His research interests lie within health services and outcomes research, with an emphasis on utilizing administrative databases to investigate health disparities in underserved populations. -

BioI attended U.C. Berkeley for my B.S. degree, the University of Colorado for my MD and U.C. Davis for my psychiatric residency and did a fellowship in Psychiatric Epidemiology at Yale. I have been faculty at the University of Iowa, Harvard and Brown. I have published over a hundred papers in peer reviewed journals, mostly in the areas of anxiety and personality. I also founded a medical society, the Association for Research in Personality Disorders (ARPD).
Currently I am in private practice in San Francisco and teach at Stanford and UCSF. My treatment approaches for psychotherapy include CBT and mindfulness. I also do psychopharmacology which I have taught UCSF for many years.
I am also a board certified forensic psychiatrist in private practice focusing largely on civil cases. -
Lauren Remer, PA-C

BioLauren graduated from the Stanford Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies program in the Spring of 2022. While in the program, she conducted a capstone study investigating the psychiatric impact of COVID-19 on older adults with depression as they navigated the healthcare system, which she presented as a podium speaker of Stanford HEALTHCARE CON in June of 2021. During PA school, she also served as president of Stanford University Physician Assistant Student Association and co-president of the Women and Medicine student group which worked to provide mentorship to women in medicine and help recognize and combat gender disparities in medicine. She was also the inaugural student to take the Healthcare Administration and Leadership elective with Clair Kuriakose, the Executive Director of Stanford Health Care's Center for Advanced Practice. Before attending PA school, she worked as an EMT in San Francisco, volunteered in the ER at Childrenâs Hospital in Oakland, volunteered as a TA for Stanfordâs EMT program, and helped conduct research with the Ashley Cardiovascular Lab at Stanford. She earned her B.S. in Management Science and Engineering at Stanford University, where she also enjoyed one year of varsity track and three years of club soccer. During her undergraduate experience she was CEO of Governorâs Corning Dining Society, a student-run non-profit dining service for over 260 undergraduate students. Presently, she is working as a hospitalist APP at Tri-Valley and is driven to help expand APP utilization in hospital medicine.
