Current Role at StanfordInfrastructure and Architecture Lead for the Research IT team. We design, build, and operate a variety of software applications and infrastructure to support research and improve patient health outcomes here at Stanford and at other hospitals around the world. I enjoy partnering with our researchers and clinicians to help them apply information technology to solve meaningful problems. I also manage a team of software developers working on tracking health status and outcomes, mobile health, and cloud computing infrastructure.

Danielle Polevoi
Instructional Faculty, Physician Assistant Studies
BioDanielle Polevoi is a recently board certified physician assistant who graduated from Stanford University School of Medicine’s Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies program with a concentration in Medical Education. During PA school, she was selected as one of fifteen students nationwide to participate in The PAEA’s Future Educator Fellowship program. She was also chosen by Stanford MSPA faculty as one of three students in the Class of 2022 to represent our program in the AAPA Virtual Challenge Bowl in 2021.
Prior to getting her master's degree, Danielle attended UCLA where she received a B.S. in Biology. In order to gain patient care experience for PA school, she worked as an Emergency Department Scribe at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center and as a medical assistant in a gynecologic surgery group.
Danielle was born and raised in San Francisco. She is eager to begin her career at SHC in the Medical ICU taking care of critically ill patients. -
Tiffany A. Purvis, PA-C, MS
Clinical Instructor (Affiliated), School of Medicine - Senior Associate Dean for Medical Student Education
BioTiffany A. Purvis, PA-C, MS is an Advanced Practice Provider at the Stanford Express Care Clinics, in both the San Jose and Palo Alto locations. Express Care is an arm of the Primary Care Department at Stanford that provides same-day, scheduled visits. She graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, MA with her Master of Physician Assistant Studies in 2001 and is NCCPA Certified. Since 2002 she has worked primarily in Emergency Medicine. She joined the Stanford Express Care team in 2019. In addition to patient care, Tiffany enjoys precepting PA students.

BioKelly Ray, NP, is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and an Emergency Nurse Practitioner. Kelly completed her nurse practitioner training at Georgetown University, and worked in primary care and corporate health before joining Stanford in 2016. She particularly enjoys helping patients with acute medical needs, and maintains clinical interest in wilderness and travel medicine.

She has provided care for patients in a variety of settings, including the Emergency Room and the Intensive Care Unit, and she has managed patients in the pre-operative, peri-operative, and post-operative stages of treatment. She has experience placing central and arterial lines, evaluating and screening for COVID-19, and assisting with emergency surgeries. Smith enjoys travelling and has volunteered with medical teams on expeditions to Peru, Bolivia, and Tanzania.
