BioI am a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Biomedical Data Science at Stanford University, where I am advised by Dr. James Zou and Dr. Stephen Quake.
My research interests lie at the intersection of statistical machine learning, computational biology, stem cell engineering, and disease modeling. My mission is to leverage AI methodologies in biomedicine to accelerate our understanding of diseases. I earned my PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia University, where I am co-advised by Dr. Kam Leong and Dr. Elham Azizi. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Xi'an Jiaotong University. -

BioI earned my Ph.D. in Energy, Environmental & Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, an M.S.E. in Geography and Environmental Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, and a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from Chongqing University. My doctoral research focused on assessing hyperlocal and local air quality through passive samplers and low-cost monitors. I currently contribute to research on lead exposure and air pollution, with a focus on Bangladesh.

BioDr. Alesha Heath is a Postdoctoral Scholar at Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford School of Medicine and the MIRECC the VA Palo Alto. She earned her PhD from the University of Western Australia and Sorbonne University.
Dr. Heath's research has been primarily focused on the mechanisms and applications of brain stimulation therapies, in particular repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation. Her research involves both basic and clinical components with the aim of improving the efficacy of these therapies for the treatment of disorders such as depression and Alzheimer's disease.
