Linbo Yu
Clinical Instructor (Affiliated), Pediatrics - Genetics
BioLinbo Yu is a genetic counselor and a founding member of Stanford’s Genetic Testing Optimization Service (GTOS). She received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2007 and her master’s degree in genetic counseling from the University of California, Irvine in 2009. She started her career at Ambry Genetics. In 2014, she became the first lab genetic counselor at Stanford Hospital and helped establish Genetic Testing Optimization Service (GTOS). As a passionate clinical liaison between Stanford Clinical Lab and the ordering providers at Stanford, some of her roles include assisting clinicians with selection of genetic tests, reviewing genetic test orders for clinical appropriateness and educating ordering providers about genetic diseases and test information. Linbo is also a clinical instructor of Department of Pediatrics, and she enjoys clinical supervision of genetic counseling students.

Kin M. Yuen, MD, MS, FAASM
Clinical Associate Professor, Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences - Sleep Medicine
BioDr. Kin Min Yuen is a board-certified, fellowship-trained sleep medicine specialist with Stanford Health Care. She is also a clinical instructor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Division of Sleep Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine.
Dr. Yuen specializes in diagnosing and treating sleep disorders in adults and children older than 3 years old. Conditions she treats include insomnia, obstructive sleep apnea, periodic limb movement disorder, restless legs syndrome, and sleepwalking.
Dr. Yuen’s research interests have included women and sleep disorders, healthy sleep and aging, and advancements in treating sleep apnea.
Dr. Yuen has published her research in peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine, Chest, International Journal of Sleep Disorders, and Psychosomatic Medicine. She has presented to her peers at international, national, and regional meetings, including those of the American Thoracic Society, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM), and the California Sleep Society (CSS).
Dr. Yuen is a member of the AASM, the CSS, the International Pediatric Sleep Association (IPSA), and the World Sleep Society.
