Jia-Horung Hung, MD, PhD
Clinical Instructor, Ophthalmology
BioDr. Hung is a fellowship-trained ophthalmologist, practicing at the Byers Eye Institute, and also a clinical instructor in the Department of Ophthalmology at Stanford University School of Medicine.
Dr. Hung specializes in diagnosing and treating ocular inflammatory diseases, such as uveitis, iridocyclitis, and scleritis, as well as retinal vascular diseases, including age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.
Dr. Hung’s research interests include ocular inflammation, infections, hereditary ocular inflammatory diseases, and novel approaches in managing ocular inflammatory diseases. His research has advanced screening, diagnostics, and treatment for patients with uveitis, lens disorders, retinal diseases, glaucoma, and rare ocular conditions. Dr. Hung’s most recent research explores the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to improve the identification of ocular inflammatory diseases.
Dr. Hung has published his work in major national and international peer-reviewed journals, including American Journal of Ophthalmology, British Journal of Ophthalmology, RETINA, Clinical & Experimental Ophthalmology, and Survey of Ophthalmology. He has presented at national and international conferences on the use of technology in uveitis management.
Dr. Hung is a member of many professional organizations, including the American Society of Retina Specialists, the International Ocular Inflammation Society, the Foster Ocular Immunology Society, and the European Society of Retina Specialists. -
Matthew Hung
Assistant Professor of Radiology (Interventional Radiology)
BioMatthew Hung, M.D. is a radiologist specializing in Vascular & Interventional Radiology. Dr. Hung earned his M.D. from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in 2018 and was a recipient of the David Geffen Medical Scholarship. He completed his Transitional Year internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in 2019. Following completion of his integrated Interventional Radiology/Diagnostic Radiology residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in 2024, he joined Stanford University Medical Center where he is currently a clinical assistant professor of radiology.
Dr. Hung specializes in lymphatic interventions, adrenal vein sampling, interventional oncology (minimally invasive cancer treatments including ablation, chemoembolization and radioembolization), the treatment of cirrhosis (end-stage liver disease) and portal hypertension, as well as therapies for uterine fibroids (uterine artery embolization) and benign prostatic hyperplasia (prostate artery embolization).
Dr. Hung is active in clinical research and his research interests include the above clinical domains as well as topics in general interventional radiology ranging from complex drainage to venous access device infections. He has published in peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology (JVIR) and presented at several professional society meetings, including the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR). He was also a recipient of the SIR Radiology Resident Research Grant, investigating quality of life and muscle wasting in patients with refractory ascites. -
Sharon Wei Hung

BioSharon Hung MD, MSCP, FACP is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician practicing at the Stanford Internal Medicine Clinic in Santa Clara. She earned her MD from the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and completed her internal medicine residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Prior to joining Stanford, she served on the faculty at the University of Arizona College of Medicine.
Dr. Hung is the Director of Women’s Health for the Department of Primary Care and Population Health. In this role, she served as course director for Stanford CME’s Women’s Health Conference and co-directs the annual Stanford CME Menopause and Healthy Aging Conference. She also hosts the Stanford CME/YouTube Women’s Health Vodcast, where she interviews leading experts and explores timely, clinically relevant topics in women’s health.
She is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner and sees perimenopausal and menopausal patients in her primary care embedded clinic, PeriWell.
Her scholarly interests include breast cancer screening, steatotic liver disease, osteoporosis, and weight gain during the perimenopausal period. Clinically, she is dedicated to preventive medicine and the management of chronic conditions such as pre-diabetes, obesity and metabolic syndrome, as well as guiding women through the perimenopausal transition. Dr. Hung also leads bi-monthly group patient visits focused on the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis.
She is passionate about inspiring trainees and works with both Stanford Internal Medicine residents and Physician Assistant students. -

Upon completion, she joined the Veterinary Service Center as a clinical veterinarian before becoming a clinical instructor for the Department of Comparative Medicine in 2016. Clinical Associate Professor (By courtesy), Surgery - Abdominal TransplantationBioDr. Filza Hussain completed her medical education at Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan, and pursued psychiatry training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, where she was awarded the MJ Martin Award for Excellence in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry and served as Chief Resident. She completed her fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry at Columbia University in New York City and is a Fellow of the Academy of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry.
Before joining Stanford, she served rural communities across eleven counties in Northwest Wisconsin as the sole outpatient psychiatric provider for a Mayo Clinic satellite practice, while also serving on the board of the National Alliance on Mental Illness and teaching psychopathology as part of Crisis Intervention Training for local law enforcement.
Dr. Hussain joined Stanford University School of Medicine in 2017. She serves as Lead Psychiatrist for the Liver and Kidney Transplant Programs at Stanford Health Care and holds a courtesy appointment in Abdominal Transplant Surgery. Her clinical work centers on expanding access to transplantation for patients with alcohol-associated liver disease. She contributed to the Stanford Limited Sobriety Pathway and led the development of FRAME-ALD (Fair and Risk-Aligned Model for Evaluation in Alcohol-Associated Liver Disease), a psychosocial risk stratification protocol now in active implementation at Stanford Health Care, built on the principle that all patients with alcohol-associated liver disease deserve individualized, evidence-based evaluation.
She developed the Immersion Series, an award-winning program bringing specialists from across medicine and surgery to teach Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry fellows, and served as Chair of the Education Committee and Associate Program Director of the fellowship, during which time she grew the program from two to four fellows and helped establish a Psycho-Oncology training track.
Her scholarly work spans transplant psychiatry, substance use in solid organ transplantation, and medical education. She has presented at national and international meetings and contributed chapters to major texts in transplant psychiatry and neuropsychiatry.
Dr. Hussain's interests include the role of psychiatric care in promoting equity in transplantation and the relationship between physician identity, wellbeing, and patient care. -

Irogue I Igbinosa

BioIrogue Igbinosa, MD, MS, is a Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician at Stanford University. Her research focus includes iron deficiency anemia in pregnancy, severe maternal morbidity and mortality, and health equity. She is a NIH Women's Reproductive Health Scholar (K12) and recently, she was also recognized as the Duan Family Faculty Scholar in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
She graduated from the University of Houston and earned her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine. She subsequently completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at Louisiana State University School of Medicine Baton Rouge. After residency, she was an AAMC-CDC Public Health Policy Fellow able to serve in the CDC Emergency Operations Center and contribute to research for healthcare providers regarding the management of the Zika virus in pregnant persons. She completed her Maternal Fetal Medicine fellowship at Stanford in 2022.
Dr. Igbinosa is passionate about community-engaged approaches to bridge gaps in evidence-based care for birthing communities and collaborates with local and national policy committees to raise awareness for reproductive justice in maternal health. In 2023, 2he was awarded the inaugural Maternal Health Implementation Science Physician Research Scholar with AMETHIST @Penn (Achieving Maternal Empowerment and Transforming Health at University of Pennsylvania) and applies to the principles learned to many aspects of her ongoing research. Her current research endeavors include co-investigator for Stanford's PHRISM: preventing inequities in hemorrhage related severe maternal morbidity, primary investigator for NOURISH - prenatal nutrition education for community health workers and doulas, as well as several hospital quality initiative efforts to improve the screening, management, and treatment of iron deficiency anemia in pregnancy. Gentaro Ikeda

BioDr. Ikeda is a physician-scientist who develops innovative diagnostic and therapeutic modalities for patients with cardiovascular disease. Based on his clinical experience as a cardiologist, he has become aware of major clinical shortcomings, specifically in the current pharmaceutical therapies for myocardial infarction (MI) and chronic heart failure (HF). Some evidence-based drug therapies, including β-blockers, ivabradine, and renin-angiotensin-aldosterone antagonists are difficult to apply to critical patients due to adverse side effects. Drugs that have shown efficacy in basic animal experiments have failed to show significant benefits in clinical trials. To address these problems, he moved to academia to conduct translational research. During his graduate training in the Egashira Lab, he focused on drug delivery systems (DDS) that target mitochondria in animal models of MI. He obtained advanced skills in molecular biology, mitochondrial bioenergetics, and animal surgery. He realized the importance of translational research and the great potential of DDS to overcome many clinical problems. He developed nanoparticle-mediated DDS containing cyclosporine for the treatment of patients with MI. He published a first-author paper and received academic awards for his novel science. Since becoming a postdoctoral fellow in the Yang Lab, he has continued to build upon his previous training in translational research. He is currently developing an innovative therapy, namely, extracellular vesicles-mediated mitochondrial transfer for mitochondria-related diseases such as heart failure and mitochondrial disease.

Jen’s current research focus is the use of zebrafish models, combined with genetics and genomics, to understand cellular and molecular mechanisms of glucose metabolism and elucidate previously unknown players involved in the regulation of insulin secretion.

BioGabriella Imbriano, Ph.D. is the Co-Director for the Center for Mental Health Implementation Support (CMHIS) within the Stanford Center for Dissemination and Implementation and is a Clinical Assistant Professor within the Stanford School of Medicine. Dr. Imbriano is a clinical psychologist and research scientist. She is passionate about increasing access to evidenced-based mental health care and her previous work in the Veterans Health Administration, and in various university and academic medical centers, has inspired her commitment to science and practice integration. She has clinical expertise and research interests in traumatic stress disorders and trauma-informed care, women’s health care, and their intersections with implementation science. BioAmy Inkster, PhD is a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Department of Epidemiology and Population Health at Stanford University. She conducts research on epigenetic alterations in pregnancy and early life to understand the molecular levers affecting healthy development. She primarily uses large 'omics datasets to study the effect of environmental exposures on pregnancy outcomes and maternal health.
Dr. Inkster received her PhD in Medical Genetics from the University of British Columbia (Vancouver, Canada), where her research focused on evaluating DNA methylation variation in prenatal life, primarily in the context of placental epigenetics, sex differences, prenatal exposures, and X-chromosome inactivation. She holds a BSc in Chemistry. Negaur Iranpour, MD

BioDr. Iranpour is a board-certified, fellowship-trained radiologist with Stanford Health Care Radiology. She is also a clinical instructor in the Department of Radiology at Stanford University School of Medicine.
Dr. Iranpour’s practice focuses on image-guided interventions for a variety of conditions including cancers, tumors, and lesions. She treats a wide range of health concerns, including cancer pain, endometriosis, prostate cancer, soft tissue tumors, uterine fibroids, and Parkinson’s disease.
Dr. Iranpour’s research interests include using abdominal MRIs to evaluate liver lesions and studying the features of pancreatic cysts. She also studies the use of MRI-guided prostate ablation and cryoablation for desmoid tumors (noncancerous growths in connective tissues).
Dr. Iranpour has been published in many peer-reviewed journals, including Abdominal Radiology, Human Psychopharmacology: Clinical and Experimental, and the Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention. She has also presented her work at national and international meetings, including at the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine, the Society of Abdominal Radiology, and the American Public Health Association. Her papers and presentations have won awards, including at the 1st Basic and Clinical Neuroscience Congress in Iran.

Haruka Itakura, MD, PhD

BioDr. Haruka Itakura is an Assistant Professor of Medicine (Oncology) in the Stanford University School of Medicine, a data scientist, and a practicing breast medical oncologist at the Stanford Women’s Cancer Center. She is board-certified in Oncology, Clinical Informatics, Hematology, and Internal Medicine. Her research mission is to drive medical advances at the intersection of cancer and data science, applying state-of-the-art machine learning/artificial intelligence (AI) techniques to extract clinically actionable knowledge from heterogeneous multi-scale cancer data to improve patient outcomes. Her ongoing research to develop robust methodologies and apply cutting-edge techniques to analyze complex cancer big data was catapulted by an NIH K01 Career Development Award in Biomedical Big Data Science after obtaining a PhD in Biomedical Informatics at Stanford University. Her cancer research focuses on extracting radiomic (pixel-level quantitative imaging) features of tumors from medical imaging studies and applying machine learning frameworks, including radiogenomic approaches, for the integrative analysis of heterogeneous, multiomic (e.g., radiomic, genomic, transcriptomic) data to accelerate discoveries in cancer diagnostics and therapeutics. Her current projects include data science/AI-powered prediction modeling of survival, treatment response, cancer recurrence, and metastasis in different cancer subtypes; detection of occult invasive breast cancer; and identification of novel therapeutic targets. Her goal is to translate her research findings back to the clinical setting for the benefit of patients with difficult-to-treat cancers.

Dr. Itani diagnoses and treats a wide range of sleep disorders in adults and children.
Dr. Itani’s research interests include medical education and patient compliance and education. Her other research interests have included sleep consequences of Prader-Willi syndrome and congenital central hypoventilation syndrome.
Dr. Itani has published her research in peer-reviewed journals including Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine, Current Neurology and Neuroscience Reports, Medical Teacher, and Brain & Development. She has presented to her peers at national and regional meetings, including the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, the Innovations in Medical Education Conference, and the American Thoracic Society.

Fabio Iwamoto, MD

BioDr. Fabio Iwamoto is a board-certified, fellowship-trained neuro-oncologist at Stanford Health Care. He is also a professor in the Department of Neurology & Neurological Sciences, Division of Neuro-Oncology, and a professor of neurosurgery in the Department of Neurosurgery, Division of Neurosurgical Oncology at Stanford University School of Medicine.
Dr. Iwamoto cares for brain and spinal cord tumors, guiding patients from diagnosis through treatment and follow-up. He specializes in managing cancer that has spread to the brain or spinal cord, working with multiple specialists to develop individualized treatment plans. He also has expertise treating tumors called gliomas, including glioblastomas. Throughout the patient journey, Dr. Iwamoto addresses cancer-related complications, such as cancer therapy side effects, numbness, and memory problems. He strives to deliver the highest level of compassionate, patient-centered care, supporting patients and families through complex decisions and challenging moments.
Dr. Iwamoto’s research focuses on developing and evaluating innovative treatments for brain tumors, particularly gliomas and glioblastomas. He studies immunotherapies, targeted therapies, and novel therapy combinations to improve tumor treatment. He leads several national and international clinical trials with the goal of bringing promising discoveries from the laboratory to patients.
Dr. Iwamoto has authored many publications in leading journals, including Nature Cancer, Nature Medicine, Neuro-Oncology, and the Journal of Clinical Oncology. He has published several book chapters on key topics in neuro-oncology, including emerging glioma treatments and the diagnosis and management of central nervous system tumors. He has also shared his expertise and research findings around the world at meetings of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Association for Cancer Research, and international neuro-oncology forums. -

Christine Jacobs-Wagner
Dennis Cunningham Professor, Professor of Biology and of Microbiology and Immunology
BioChristine Jacobs-Wagner is a Dennis Cunningham Professor in the Department of Biology and the ChEM-H Institute at Stanford University. She is interested in understanding the fundamental mechanisms and principles by which cells, and, in particular, bacterial cells, are able to multiple. She received her PhD in Biochemistry in 1996 from the University of Liège, Belgium where she unraveled a molecular mechanism by which some bacterial pathogens sense and respond to antibiotics attack to achieve resistance. For this work, she received multiple awards including the 1997 GE & Science Prize for Young Life Scientists. During her postdoctoral work at Stanford Medical School, she demonstrated that bacteria can localize regulatory proteins to specific intracellular regions to control signal transduction and the cell cycle, uncovering a new, unsuspected level of bacterial regulation.
She started her own lab at Yale University in 2001. Over the years, her group made major contributions in the emerging field of bacterial cell biology and provided key molecular insights into the temporal and spatial mechanisms involved in cell morphogenesis, cell polarization, chromosome segregation and cell cycle control. For her distinguished work, she received the Pew Scholars award from the Pew Charitable Trust, the Woman in Cell Biology Junior award from the American Society of Cell Biology and the Eli Lilly award from the American Society of Microbiology. She held the Maxine F. Singer and William H. Fleming professor chairs at Yale. She was elected to the Connecticut academy of Science, the American Academy of Microbiology and the National Academy of Sciences. She has been an investigator of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute since 2008.
Her lab moved to Stanford in 2019. Current research examines the general principles and spatiotemporal mechanisms by which bacterial cells replicate, using Caulobacter crescentus and Escherichia coli as models. Current Research and Scholarly InterestsWe study innate immunity and immune regulation of Plasmodium Falciparum malaria in children and pregnant women. Our work focuses on understanding how malaria shapes the immune state in individuals following repeated exposure. We are also testing novel interventions to enhance protective immunity against malaria in children via large, randomized controlled trials. Our work in malaria has been based in Eastern Uganda, where malaria transmission is among the highest in the world.

Abhi Jain

BioDr. Jain is a neuroradiologist and a Certified Imaging Informatics Professional (CIIP) whose academic work bridges day-to-day neuroradiology practice with imaging informatics and clinically grounded artificial intelligence (AI).
His clinical research interests include quantitative imaging and radiomics in cerebrovascular disease, with particular emphasis on intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH), and imaging biomarkers in the aging brain and neurodegeneration, including limbic-predominant age-related TDP-43 encephalopathy (LATE).
His AI/informatics and quality-improvement interests include large language models (LLMs) for radiology reporting support and clinical decision support, with an emphasis on real-world evaluation and workflow integration.
His education interests focus on modern, technology-enabled neuroradiology teaching, including tailored language models and extended reality (XR; augmented/virtual/mixed reality) approaches to strengthen trainee learning. -
Shaili Jain, MD
Adjunct Clinical Professor, Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences
BioDr. Jain is a board certified psychiatrist with specialty expertise in posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), primary and mental health integrated care, and women’s health psychiatry. She is a former health services researcher, affiliated with the National Center for PTSD, who focuses on developing innovative ways to enhance the reach of mental healthcare in underserved populations with PTSD. Her work is widely accredited for elucidating the role of paraprofessionals and peers in the treatment of American veterans with PTSD.
She serves as the Psychiatry representative on Stanford's Executive Committee of the Association of Adjunct Clinical Faculty (AACF) and is also a council member for the Adjunct Clinical Faculty (ACF) council in Stanford's department of psychiatry. She is a distinguished fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.
Dr. Jain is an internationally recognized leader in communicating to the public about trauma and PTSD. BioDr. Sneha S. Jain is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at Stanford University, where she specializes in general cardiovascular medicine and preventive cardiology. Current Research and Scholarly InterestsWe identified a common disorder of aging called clonal hematopoiesis of indeterminate potential (CHIP). CHIP occurs due to certain somatic mutations in blood stem cells and represents a precursor state for blood cancer, but is also associated with increased risk of cardiovascular disease and death. We hope to understand more about the biology and clinical implications of CHIP using human and model system studies.

Sajid Jalil
Clinical Associate Professor, Medicine - Gastroenterology & Hepatology
BioDr. Jalil is a board-certified, fellowship-trained transplant hepatologist (liver doctor) and gastroenterologist at the Stanford Health Care Digestive Health Center in San Jose, California. He is also a clinical associate professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, at Stanford University School of Medicine.
Dr. Jalil has extensive experience helping patients with a range of liver- and digestion-related conditions. He specializes in liver transplantation, and his other clinical interests include all forms of hepatitis, cirrhosis of the liver, fatty liver disease, polycystic liver disease, and primary sclerosing cholangitis (swelling and scarring of the bile ducts). He has also volunteered in initiatives to offer free colonoscopy and hepatitis B screenings to underserved ethnic populations.
His research interests include improving mental health by enhancing treatment access for patients with alcohol use disorder causing alcoholic liver disease. He has also studied swallowing problems, liver disease in pregnancy, living liver donation, and the use of artificial intelligence in treating nonalcoholic fatty liver disease and viral hepatitis. In addition, Dr. Jalil wrote a chapter on bile secretion and cholestasis (diminished bile flow) for the fifth edition of Yamada’s Textbook of Gastroenterology.
Dr. Jalil has published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, including World Journal of Hepatology, Liver Transplantation, and the Journal of Clinical Gastroenterology. Additionally, he has served as a reviewer for Pancreatology and as an abstract reviewer for the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) and the Ohio Chapter of the American College of Physicians. He has presented his research at meetings and conferences worldwide on a range of topics, including the timing of pregnancy after liver transplantation.

Mehrnaz Nicole Jamali MD

BioDr. M. Nicole Jamali focus has been in leadership, scientific innovation and streamlining business ventures. Over the past 20 years since graduation from Stanford Internal Medicine Residency, she has held National Positions in AMA as Western Caucus Chair and Appointee to Joint Commission Board. She was reelected to Board of Joint Commission three terms for total of 9 years. She helped rewrite multiple TJC Standards including creation of the Stroke Center of excellence standards and annual "new ideas section of the board". At AMA she authored and passed multiple House rules on variety of subjects affecting thousands of providers and healthcare centers. Her experiences in private practice, group practice, Hospitalist, Insurance Directorship lead to multiple innovative projects including first e-prescription covering both meds and DME in 1999 titled eRemedy,. She then created the first wrong site surgery device which was patented. This project lead to creation of first Transplant App called TPOD which was then simplified to TAPP. It was beta tested in USC and perfected in UCSF Transplant.
Her work with various Insurance companies resulted in streamlined programs and teaching modules improving patient access to health care and millions of dollars in hospital savings of unnecessary admissions.
Her work in creation and streamlining and connecting with local Primary Care providers resulted in rapid expansion of the Hospitalist program of local Hospital by 300%
She is currently interested in Haptic and AI technologies in Medicine and providing 24/7 care to our veterans in remote locations or even the battlefield.
She is currently Clinical Associated Professor and the lead Hospitalist in the new Stanford Cardiovascular Hospitalist Program and enjoys the daily interaction with patients . She truly believes that her mission in life is to be at the bedside of ill patients. She treats them as one of her own family. It is not atypical for her to hand out her personal phone number to make sure they feel safe even when discharged. -

Current Research and Scholarly InterestsClinical interests include autonomic disorders, small fiber neuropathies and the development of effective methods of testing and treating these disorders. Prior work has focused on small fiber painful and autonomic neuropathies; syndromes of orthostatic intolerance and syncope; gastrointestinal motility dysfunction; cyclic vomiting; protacted Gastroesophageal Reflux; non-allergic rhinitis syndromes; and the relationship between the autonomic nervous system and normal or abnormal sleep. Additional areas of interest include the neurology of phonation and swallowing disorders, and peripheral nerve injury and repair.

Current Research and Scholarly InterestsMy laboratory studies conformational switches in evolution, disease, and development. We focus on how molecular chaperones, proteins that help other biomolecules to fold, affect the phenotypic output of genetic variation. To do so we combine classical biochemistry and genetics with systems-level approaches. Ultimately we seek to understand how homeostatic mechanisms influence the acquisition of biological novelty and identify means of manipulating them for therapeutic and biosynthetic benefit.

BioDr. Praveen Jayapal is a board-certified radiologist and Assistant Professor of Radiology at Stanford University, specializing in body imaging for both adult and pediatric patients, with a particular focus on MRI. Current Research and Scholarly InterestsDr. Jeffrey led the multidisciplinary team from the Schools of Medicine, Engineering, and Genome Technology Center that invented the MagSweeper, an automated device that immunomagnetically captures live circulating tumor cells (CTCs) from cancer patient blood for single cell analysis or culture. Her lab also works on microfluidic technologies for tumor cell capture, characterization, and growth - with the goal of defining individual patient response to newer biologically-based cancer therapies.

Clinical Associate Professor, PediatricsBioDr. Susy Jeng is a Clinical Associate Professor of Neurology at Stanford Children’s Hospital at Stanford University. Dr. Jeng received her A.B. at Harvard College and M.D. at the University of California, San Diego. She completed her pediatrics residency at University of California, San Francisco and is board-certified in pediatrics. After practicing general pediatrics for two years, she returned to UCSF for neurology residency. Upon completion of her residencies, she joined the faculty at Stanford as a general child neurologist with a special interest in medical education. She is the the Stanford Child Neurology Clerkship Director and Stanford Neurology Associate Clerkship Director for the medical students.
